The Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet© “Board of Directors” (BoD) is responsible for overseeing the mission and purpose of the organization. Its duties include:

  1. Participation in strategic planning
  2. Making policy decisions, then securing the financing of them and the monitoring of their execution
  3. Willing to attend the requisite meeting
  4. Follow through on commitments
  5. Participate fully in the decision-making process
  6. Presents the organization’s image to the community
  7. Solicits its support in achieving the organization’s goals

The Officers and Directors of Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet follows the three (3) duties outlined by the National Center for Nonprofit Boards (NCBC) as shown below:

  1. Duty of Care: Board members must pay attention to what’s going on and make decisions based on good information
  2. Duty of Loyalty: Board members must put the Organization’s welfare above other interests when making decisions
  3. Duty of Obedience: Board members will act in accordance with the Organization’s mission and goals
