Allocation of Donations
Monetary contributions received are allocated as follows depending on whether the contribution is earmarked for a specific program or project or not along with specific allocation percentages related to programs, administrative/governance, and fundraising defined expenditures.
All contributors receive an official donation “Thank You Acknowledgement Letter” and a “Pre-numbered Receipt” either via U.S. Mail or Email, usually within 30 business days following receipt of such monetary contribution.
The allocations following pertain to donations received by Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet.
Monetary donations not earmarked for a specific program or project:
- 90% Program (Foster Home or MPA fund or WA-TX or MVP Sanctuary-TX) related expenditures
- 10% Governance and Management related expenditures
Monetary donations earmarked for a specific Program or Project:
- 93% Program-related expenditures
- 5% Governance and Management related expenditures
- 2% Fund-raising related expenditures
